The Story Behind the Design

During our travels, we visited many temples and sacred sites. Before one visit to a Buddhist temple, I watched an old documentary about Buddhism because I wanted to better understand its history, symbols, and significance.

When I then visited the temple, it was a completely different experience. Suddenly, I started noticing details I might not have noticed before. Statues, gestures, symbols, and individual elements of the decoration took on a deeper meaning for me. Instead of just visiting a beautiful place, I felt that, at least for a moment, I understood the stories and ideas hidden behind them.

This very moment became the inspiration for this design. It reminds me how travel is not just about discovering new places, but also about gaining new perspectives on the world. Sometimes, all it takes is slowing down a bit, being open, and allowing yourself to see things in contexts you hadn't seen before.

Material: Solid colors are 100% cotton (pre-shrunk jersey). Ash Grey is 99% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 1% polyester. Sport Grey is 90% cotton, 10% polyester. Heather colors are 50% cotton, 50% polyester.
