The Story Behind the Design

During our travels, we visited many temples and sacred places. Before one visit to a Buddhist temple, I watched an old documentary about Buddhism because I wanted to better understand its history, symbols, and meaning.

When I then visited the temple, it was a completely different experience. Suddenly, I started noticing details that I might not have noticed before. Statues, gestures, symbols, and individual decorative elements took on a deeper meaning for me. Instead of just visiting a beautiful place, I felt that, at least for a moment, I understood the stories and ideas hidden behind them.

This very moment became the inspiration for this design. It reminds me that travel is not just about discovering new places, but also about gaining new perspectives on the world. Sometimes, all it takes is to slow down a bit, be open, and allow yourself to see things in contexts that you hadn't seen before.
